SEEKING ACTORS W/VOCAL & DANCE EXPERIENCE:
MENTAL NOTION SOCIETY (http://www.mentalnotion.com) presents “Yellowstone: A Twilight Zone.” Written/Composed by Caroline Lucius. Directed by Jonald Jude Reyes.
SYNOPSIS: You are traveling through another musical, a musical of not only sight and sound but of BEARS! Yellowstone: A Twilight Zone brings Paulie into his dreams of being part of the wilderness, but see what happens when bears aren't welcoming, scouts get threatening, and parents get parenty.
We’re seeking talented actor/singer/dancer folk to be a part of our production.
AUDITION DATES / TIMES / LOCATION:

Sunday, July 15, 2012 - 2 to 5pm

PERFORMANCE DATES:
5 week run - every Wednesday at 8 pm, from September 5th to October 10th , 2012 (off on Sept. 19th). Location of performance TBA. Venue will be located in Lakeview/Lincoln Park area.
TIME COMMITMENT: We're looking to rehearse 3 times a week (2 weeknights after 6pm and 1 weekend early afternoon) for 3 hours each.
We're looking to cast 8 performers (preferably between ages of 21 - 45, but email us for exceptions). Performers must: -be able to make all performance dates. –be physically fit due to choreography and body movements. –be able to sing because this is a musical. –be able to sing & dance together. Prior experience in musicals is a plus but not required.
AUDITION PREP: Please bring Headshot/Resume and have one song, off-book, ready to sing a capella (not rap). Audition will consist of 3 elements: 1. cold reads 2. singing and 3. light choreography. FYI - You will be with a group, so you'll be singing solo in front of them. Auditions will also be filmed and NOT made public to assist in evaluation. Please wear comfortable, yet presentable, clothing. Please be punctual!

SEEKING PIANO PLAYER/VOCAL COORDINATOR: Candidates should be able to play piano and provide vocal accompaniment. Open to experienced Musical Directors, as well as musicians wanting to gain theater production experience. Compensation pending ticket sales.
Duties include: -learning original compositions; -assisting Choreographer and/or Director in support of music scenes; -working with cast in vocal preparation & performance; -provide feedback in support of overall show

SEEKING MUSICIANS TO A MUSIC REVOLUTION
The Mental Notion Society presents Sir Jove's "THE OTHER."
"THE OTHER" tells the story of government manufactured clones which have escaped the secret science labs. The clones take habit within the underground of our world, inciting a growing emotional r(evolution). This project shall produce 1. band performance gigs and ; 2. ultimately, a performance art piece to the story (in form alla theatrical rock opera).
Sir Jove, the Composer of "THE OTHER," seeks 1 GUITAR player ; 1 BASS player ; and 1 DRUMmer. Candidate of any position should have a good range of music genre experience, appreciation, and delivery - from jazz to punk, to classic to hip hop, etc. etc. and be open to the power of 'sounds.' We are looking for people with a good sense of imagination and the acceptance of looking outside the box. Candidate shall be available at least twice to three times a week for practice and available for performances, which shall include venue (bars/cafes/event) gigs, and the process of the performance art piece (said stage production).
"THE OTHER" (theatrical show) is tentatively set to be performed by end of Summer or beginning of Fall 2012.

THE PITCH: How cool would it be to have your tune as part of a film? Are you looking to get more exposure to your music? Do you wanna build a stronger following and even add a soundtrack album to your music resume? THEN submit to our production!
Gorilla Tango Motion Pictures presents "You Are Not Alone," an indie- micro-budget full-length thriller.
SYNOPSIS: Natalie is a college graduate visiting her hometown over the 4th of July. The night she arrives, she is stalked by a sociopathic killer on the loose. The film will be told from the first-person perspective.
We're looking for music of all different genres to help add the right background element to our scenes. It can be anything you have on tap, as you don't know what we're looking for and you just won't know unless you try!
If your track is selected, you (and your band, if applicable) will reap the benefits of the film's own exposure, which includes but is not limited to, free marketing/publicity, audience gain, traffic to your website/online media, as well as networking within the entertainment industry. Your track will be featured as part of an entire soundtrack album featuring other musical talents. You'll also be invited to all private cast/crew functions such as screenings & parties.
